American Airlines Cargo Formalizes Master Lease Agreement with CSafe Global

Dayton, OH Oct 8, 2015 – CSafe Global and American Airlines Cargo have finalized a master lease agreement that will allow the airline to offer leasing options for the industry-leading CSafe RKN via the carrier’s ExpediteTC° program.
“With ExpediteTC°, American Airlines Cargo offers an exceptional experience for customers who are shipping temperature-sensitive products. The addition of CSafe to our cold chain program provides customers with another option for their shipping needs,” said Tom Grubb, Manager of Cold Chain Strategy for American Airlines Cargo. “This technology is desired by our customers for accurate temperature management of delicate shipments in order to protect and maintain the efficacy of potentially life-saving products for patients.”

CSafe Global Expands in Korea with New Director of Sales

Dayton, OH Sep 28, 2015 – CSafe Global is pleased to announce Kevin Lee as the Director of Strategic Life Science Sales in Korea. Kevin will be responsible for growing the Korean market with CSafe’s comprehensive suite of active and passive cold chain protection solutions.
In this new role, Kevin will be reporting to Nadine Siqueland, Vice-President of Global Sales at CSafe. “Korea is of considerable strategic importance to CSafe. We’ve seen strong sales growth in Korea and in the Asia Pacific region overall,” says Nadine. “Kevin’s record of achievement developing the Korean biopharmaceutical market will be instrumental in helping us achieve our ambitious growth plans in this region. We are honored to have him join the global team.”
Kevin Lee is a highly experienced and successful sales leader with an exemplary twenty year track record in the Korean healthcare industry. He was educated at Pukyong National University in Business Administration. Before joining CSafe, Kevin worked in Korean sales leadership positions with the medical imaging specialist, Guerbet, and the pharmaceutical companies Schering-Plough (now Merck), Novo Nordisk and Daewoong Pharmaceutical.

In addition, new one-way options allow Lessees to end their lease in an additional 20 out-of-network CSafe locations with CSafe handling the container return transportation for a small additional fee.

CSafe Global Celebrates Open House at New Basel Service Center

Dayton, OH Jul 27, 2015 – CSafe Global announced the opening of a new full service centre serving the Basel, Switzerland area. The recently opened service centre is a new location for Airplane Equipment Services (AES). AES also supports CSafe in Frankfurt and Cologne. CSafe and AES welcomed customers at an open house held on July 9.
Brian Kohr, President and CEO of CSafe Global commented, “The use of the CSafe RKN continues to grow out of Switzerland and we are very excited about adding to our relationship with Airplane Equipment Services. The opening of the new service centre as of June 1 meets our strategic timeline in expanding our CSafe RKN service and maintenance network to support and growing customer demand in BSL. Where we were able to provide some services and stocking of containers in Basel in the past, the new location is capable of performing repair work.”

CSafe Launches Customer Advisory Board

Dayton, OH Mar 12, 2015 – CSafe, the world’s largest provider of temperature-controlled shipping solutions, exemplified its strong customer relationships with the inaugural meeting of its US Customer Advisory Board. Seven of the world’s top pharmaceutical and healthcare companies gathered with two senior members of the CSafe team at the Aileron center in Dayton, Ohio and discussed a wide range of issues affecting current and future trends in the safe transportation of temperature-sensitive products.
Members considered the changes in regulatory guidance and in particular were concerned about how best to interpret the requirements of Controlled Room Temperature, both domestically and internationally. The topic of the need to implement better Quality Agreements with vendors engaged the group and allowed members to share their own current experiences.
The question of changes in future distribution models for personalized medicine and the solutions that these highly sensitive bio products will need, were also part of the group’s wider discussion on future product developments from CSafe.
After a highly-successful inaugural meeting, the group will meet in six months’ time with an extended educational agenda. CSafe will have their inaugural European Customer Advisory Board meeting later in 2015.
