IMG Launches Two Unique International Insurance Plans

Indianapolis, IN Sep 1, 2011 – New plans added to IMG’s product portfolio
International Medical Group®, Inc. (IMG®), a worldwide leader in designing, distributing and administering global health care benefits, has launched two international group insurance plans, adding to its diverse product portfolio. The Patriot Platinum Group Travel Medical InsuranceSM and Patriot Green Group Travel Medical InsuranceSM plans, provide a wealth of benefits and are tailored to meet the specific needs of groups of five or more in their respective market.

Patriot Platinum Group provides first-class protection for groups of five or more international travelers who want to obtain the maximum coverage available in a short-term travel medical product. Among the many benefits available, the plan provides up to $8,000,000 of coverage, an extensive range of deductibles, certain coverage for sudden and unexpected recurrences of pre-existing conditions, exclusive access to IMG’s Global Concierge and Assistance ServicesSM, and premium coverage for in-patient and out-patient medical expenses. Coverage is available from five days up to three years for U.S. citizens traveling outside the U.S. and for non-U.S. citizens traveling outside their home country.
Patriot Green Group is designed for groups of five or more environmentally conscious international travelers that are serious about sustainable and responsible tourism. The plan includes an Eco Sports Rider covering such activities as jungle zip lining, wildlife safaris, and cave tubing among others. The plan also includes an additional AD&D benefit allowing the insured the opportunity to donate $5,000, in the event of his/her Accidental Death and Dismemberment, to an environmental organization that positively impacts global conservation. This donation is payable by IMG on the insured’s behalf. Patriot Green Group can only be purchased online. Coverage is available from five days up to two years for U.S. citizens traveling outside the U.S. and for non-U.S. citizens traveling outside their home country.
Additionally, both plans offer insureds easy access to more than 17,000 providers through IMG’s proprietary International Provider AccessSM (IPA) when seeking treatment outside the U.S. Insureds can also reduce their out-of-pocket costs when seeking treatment in the U.S. by locating providers through the independent Preferred Provider Organization, a separately organized network of hundreds of thousands of established, highly qualified health care physicians and many well-recognized hospitals in the U.S. contracted by IMG.

IMG Again Among Inner City 100 Winners

(IMG®), a driving force and leader in the international health insurance market, has been named to the 2011 Inner City 100, a list of the fastest-growing inner city companies in the U.S. as determined by the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) and Fortune Magazine. This year marks the fifth time that IMG made the list, and its induction into the 2011 Inner City Hall of Fame. The program recognizes successful inner city companies and their CEO’s as role models for entrepreneurship, innovative business practices and job creation in America’s urban communities. IMG placed 84th on the list.
Since the inaugural Inner City list in 1999, a select group of dynamic inner city businesses have been recognized as repeat Inner City 100 winners because of their astounding growth rates over a sustained period. These companies are showcased during their fifth year on the Inner City 100 list as Hall of Fame recipients. IMG was also named to the list in 2004, 2006, 2009, and 2010.

The Inner City 100 list provides unmatched original data on the fastest growing inner city businesses in the U.S. In the last 13 years, 661 different companies have earned positions on the Inner City 100, collectively generating more than $2.2 billion in annual revenues and creating nearly 70,000 new jobs. For the 2011 list, a record number of two thousand nominations were received. Winners represented a wide span of the U.S., operating in 51 cities and 32 states. The 2011 Inner City 100 winners grew at a compound annual growth rate of 39 percent and an average standard growth rate of 379 percent between 2004 and 2009. Collectively, the top 100 inner city businesses employ 6,720 employees and have created more than 3,227 new jobs between 2005 and 2009. Individually, the average Inner City 100 Company’s revenues were $11.4 million and have, on average, 12 years of experience since founding. This year’s winners have a median employee turnover rate of less than 12 percent (compared to 36 percent for the national average) and 96 percent of them provide health insurance to their workers.
