U.S. HealthWorks Acquires Two New Jersey Medical Centers Occupational Healthcare Centers located in Bridgewater and Somerset
Edison, NJ Nov 7, 2011 – U.S. HealthWorks, a leading operator of occupational healthcare centers nationwide, today announced the acquisition of the Priority Medical Care, operator of two medical clinics in Bridgewater and Somerset.
The acquisition of these two centers brings the number of U.S. HealthWorks operated medical centers in New Jersey to seven and increases the number of U.S. HealthWorks centers and worksite locations to 173 nationwide.
The Priority Medical Care Bridgewater center is located at 350 Grove St. The Somerset center has operated under the name Total Care Occupational Medicine and is located at 370 Campus Drive.
Both facilities offer occupational healthcare services, including diagnosis and treatment for injury and illness, preventive services, pre-employment and post-offer exams and screening, and return-to-work rehabilitative care. The Bridgewater center also offers urgent care services. Terms of the transactions, effective January 12, 2012, were not disclosed.
