U.S. HealthWorks Acquires Medical Center in Camarillo
Camarillo, CA Nov 1, 2011 – U.S. HealthWorks, the leading operator of occupational healthcare and urgent care medical centers in California, today announced the acquisition of the Santa Rosa Walk-In Medical Center Inc. in Camarillo.
The newly acquired center is located at 4934 Verdugo Way in Camarillo in Ventura County. The acquisition brings the total number of U.S. HealthWorks centers to 66 in California and a total of 156 centers and worksite locations in 14 states, said Therese Hernandez, Sr. Vice President & General Manager, CA Operations. “It’s this type of growth within our local communities that continues to build the loyal and trusting relationships which U.S. HealthWorks has proudly formed with both employers and patients in need of exceptional healthcare.”
The Camarillo facility will offer occupational medicine services, including diagnosis and treatment for injury and illness, preventive services, pre-employment and post-offer exams and screening, and return-to-work rehabilitative care. Terms of the transactions, effective October 4, 2011, were not disclosed.
