Columbus, OH Feb 6, 2015 – Quantum Health Chief Executive Officer Kara Trott was named today as the 2015 Healthcare Executive of the Year by Columbus CEO, an award that recognizes one individual within the community for their positive impact on a healthcare organization and those it serves through sustained, outstanding leadership efforts.
Quantum Health as an organization was also awarded the Healthcare Trailblazer award, an award recognizing an organization, company or individual for innovative or entrepreneurial healthcare initiatives that improve the practice of medicine or delivery of care to patients.
“These awards truly belong to the entire Quantum Health team—a group of people who make a daily difference in our members’ lives and have been transforming the healthcare journey for over fifteen years,” said Trott. “It’s great to see Quantum Health in the company of so many other accomplished honorees who are making a true impact in the healthcare community regionally and nationally.”
Founded by Trott after two years of intensive consumer research, Quantum Health was the first to define and use consumer behavior process mapping in healthcare. The company built a best-in-class model for care coordination and navigation based on how people experience their healthcare journey, what they need and how best to connect with them. As part of a company’s healthcare benefits plan, Quantum Health offers a single point-of- contact connecting employees to a multidisciplinary team that uses Real-Time InterceptTM to proactively address their needs and concerns throughout their healthcare journey.
