Austin Urologist Discusses Cryotherapy and Prostate Cancer Awareness Month with KTBC-TV

Indianapolis, IN Sep 8, 2015 – September is Prostate Cancer Awareness month, a time when the disease is brought into focus.
Dr. Eric Giesler, a urologist in Austin, Texas, talked about cryotherapy for recurrent prostate cancer with local Fox affiliate, KTBC.
Dr. Giesler’s patient and local pastor, Rick Cundieff, shared his prostate cancer journey and his positive experience with cryotherapy. Cundieff had the treatment twice — the first time in 2005, and then again this year when the cancer struck again.
Both Cundieff and Dr. Giesler urged men to start the conversation about prostate cancer, the PSA screening test, and treatment options, should a problem arise.
