Precyse Account Executive Elected President of FHIMA

HIM Industry Veteran Anita Doupnik, RHIA, Prepares to Lead FHIMA
Wayne, PA and Alpharetta, GA Jun 5, 2013 — —Precyse, a leader in Health Information Management (HIM) technology and services, announces that Anita Doupnik, RHIA, Precyse Account Executive, has been elected President of the Florida Health Information Management Association (FHIMA). During this 3-year term, Ms. Doupnik will serve as the association’s President-Elect in 2013-2014, President from 2014-2015, and Past-President from 2015-2016.
FHIMA’s new leadership will take their offices starting July 23, 2013, when they are inducted during the FHIMA annual conference in Orlando, FL. This year, as President-Elect, Ms. Doupnik will focus on keeping the lines of communication open with the association’s membership, including the leaders of
the nine regional component associations. She also will help FHIMA members with educational opportunities and she will oversee the organization’s Leadership Conference being held in August.
“I have been very involved in FHIMA for many years, in many capacities, and I’m now honored with this opportunity to help support FHIMA in addressing the unique challenges and opportunities facing the health information management industry,” said Ms. Doupnik. “I look forward to helping the organization
in the next 3 years to deliver on its mission to support and promote HIM professionals.”
Ms. Doupnik’s healthcare experience spans 25 years, including expertise in consulting, project management, business development, sales and marketing. In her current position, she’s responsible for the total customer relationship with Precyse’s early adopter precyseCode™ computer assisted coding (CAC) and precyseCDI™ clinical documentation improvement (CDI) technology clients. She is also responsible for maintaining effective long-term relationships at the senior level with key decision makers, ensuring client retention, satisfaction and strategic growth.

A graduate of The Ohio State University, Ms. Doupnik holds a B.S. degree in Allied Medical Professions, with a Minor degree in Computer and Information Sciences. She is currently a member of HFMA, AHIMA, FHIMA and GCHIMA and has held numerous roles and positions on the Board of GCHIMA and FHIMA. Ms. Doupnik was awarded the FHIMA Distinguished Member in 2012. She has presented at local and state HIM meetings on topics such as myPHR, clinical documentation
improvement, computer assisted coding and document imaging technology.
