New York, NY - Altaris, LLC (collectively with its affiliates, “Altaris”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ger Brophy, Ph.D., as an Operating Partner. Dr. Brophy has over 30 years of experience in the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries.
Most recently, Dr. Brophy served as a board member and Chief Executive Officer of ElevateBio on an interim basis. Prior to ElevateBio, Dr. Brophy served as Executive Vice President of BioPharma Production at Avantor, where he led commercial, R&D, production, quality, and regulatory activities. Prior to Avantor, Dr. Brophy held a series of senior roles at GE Healthcare Life Sciences (now Cytiva) spanning 30 years, including serving as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Cell Therapy.
Dr. Brophy earned a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and a doctorate in Molecular Biology from Dublin City University in Ireland.
